Quiche Recipes Quiche is a baked meal often with a base of olive paste but there are others variants too, and yahtsa filling, butter and cheese. It is a traditional French meal but originally came from Lorraine at the time of the Big French Revolution in 1789. However, it never stopped developing and nowadays, there are hundreds of quiche recipes in existence.

The needed products are 2 tea cups flour, 100 g butter, a pinch of sea salt ( you can even try it with sugar if you want something unusual ) , 6 tablespoons cold mineral water and an egg. First sift the flour into a bowl. Add the cut into pieces butter and add a pinch of salt and just one tablespoon of cold water. Then knead the pastry gently, stretch and wrap it in a transparent household foil and put it in the fridge for at least an hour and a half. Then roll the dough with a diameter greater than that of the court for baking-it can be formed an edge when you put in the tray. Cut the needless dough. Pierce with a fork and place the pan back into the fridge for thirty to thirty-five minutes. The round, triangle and the curly trays are very appropriate but you can cook it even in a normal tray.

Depending on your preferences and choices the selected quiche recipe can have filling of vegetables, fruit, meat, fish, mushrooms and vegetables. If you have chosen meat, bake it in preheated oven in 200 degrees for forty minutes. The fruits that are usually used in the quiche recipes are those which are minor in the key lime pie recipes. The price you will have to pay will depend on what filing you wanted, so the quiche can be very expensive but very cheap too. Cheesy quiche is has a unique and unusual taste too.

So, it is not surprising that the French people first try to cook it like that- they are the “inventors” of everything considered to be “best”. The tradition of presenting quiche requires to be served at the table warm or cold (depending on filling) with a green salad and wine.
